Good Pizza and Wonderful Views from BJ's PIzzeria

Located on the second floor overlooking Lahaina Harbor, this restaurant serves wonderful pizza ($8 - $25). Luckily we ate at this restaurant because their pizzas are outstanding. We had the pepperoni, cheese and tomato pizza which was very fresh and tasty. (They serve their pizzas in a deep dish pan). They also serve BBQ chicken, vegetarian, and shrimp thermadore pizzas. Since I like to have mixed drinks this was the perfect place to come to. They serve Mai Tais and Tropical drinks while you eat your pizza! Not many other restaurants serve good food and mixed drinks at the same time. The owner is Jerry Kunimoto who was born on the Big Island (my hometown). The atmosphere and decor is very tropical since you can see surfers, fishermen, and shoppers galore against Front Street's historic backdrop. The dining experience is very casual. The restaurant has many captioned photos of Lahaina's history. The menu also has some great appetizers that run from $5 - $9 such as spinach and atrichoke pizzadilla, buffao wings, and Chraleston Crab Cakes (which are very delicious). They also have specialty salads ($4 - $8) such as sesame chicken salad, chopped Italian salad, and BBQ chicken salad. Their dessert menu is very good too. Their pizzokie 'n creat is out of this world. It is a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie served with vanilla ice cream. BJ's is open Sunday - Thursday from 11am to 11pm and on Friday - Saturday from 11am - 12am. This is one of the best escapes in town! I would highly recommend coming to this restaurant which combines quality food with a casual atmosphere and unique tropical drink recipes in a beautiful setting. Come early because it gets crowded during dinner hours and there is hardly any parking around Lahaina unless you are really lucky.

BJ's has the best pizza I've ever eaten! You can get it Chicago style with tomatoes and basil on top, or traditional with tomato sauce. Either way, it's thick and delicious! You get a good amount of food for your money. The service was great and they had a singer performing the night we went. The restaurant is upstairs overlooking Front Street and provides a great view of the nightlife. I can't wait to go back!

BJ's Chicago Pizzeria

This is an award-winning pizza restaurant located on Maui. The pizzeria is located on Lahaina Front Street with an awesome view of the boats coming in and out of the Lahaina harbor. Located right above the T-Shirt Factory, you must walk upstairs to get to the restaurant. Lining the stairs are captioned photos of Lahaina's history.

The restaurant offers pizza ($8 - $25), homemade sandwiches ($6 - $9), specialty salads ($4 - $8), pasta, and unique appetizers ($8 - $14). We had the Hawaiian (ham and pineapple) on half, and sausage and mushroom on half. Great pizza! Don't leave the restaurant without trying the Pizookie 'n Cream. This is a favorite. It is a baked, hot, and rich chocolate-chip or white-chocolate macadamia-nut cookie with vanilla ice cream. There is also a full-service bar. A local musician begins to entertain at 7pm each evening.
