Mai Thai Restaurant

Located on the 2nd floor of a busy street near the main thoroughfare, this was pretty good Thai. The atmosphere and decor was pretty busy, but somewhat standard for Thai restaurants. When we were there (it was a weekend night), they were quite busy, but the service was more than acceptable.

For some reason, I was hoping for more (given the proximity to Thailand as opposed to the US), but it was certainly passable. I'd eat there again.

Fantastic Thai restaurant, located centrally opposite Sky City. Delicious food and friendly staff decked out in traditional Thai dress help make this one of my favorite restaurants in Auckland.

As many restaurants in NZ as there are, it is BYO (Bring Your Own wine) with a nominal charge for corkage. The wine shop on the corner of Elliot St. and Victoria St. is ideal for buying the perfect bottle.
