Horst Gasthaus is located in north Myrtle Beach, just off Route 17 (50 yards) on the right, about 1 mile past Barefoot Landing. Very good German cuisine, usually accompanied by a accordion player. Enjoyable, upbeat, friendly atmosphere. Good choice of German/American food. We haven't ordered any American food there, but the German food is very good and plenty of it! Happy Dining! Let us know what you think!

This is a family-owned true German resturant with a very friendly waitstaff and great food. The German beer selection is nice too. Entertainment by the German "one-man band" adds to the fun, especially for the kids. We make a point of going there every year during our vacation.

We had such a great time! We forgot we were in Myrtle Beach. We felt transported with the decor, costumes, food, and music. It is a small family owned restaurant but it was fun for us and the kids. The menu was authentic with (as I remember) a few additions for kids. There was an accordian player who played lively music and had people cheering for more. We can't wait to bring more of the family there this year.
