The meal price included the "dinner show" of jousting and other medieval tournament games. My 11-year-old son thought it was spectacular. My 16-year-old daughter was less impressed, finding it a little cheesy, but it was still an evening well spent.

The food was tasty but the joy of it was how they served us in medieval fashion. The costuming and decorations of the place was wonderfully entertaining as were the participants. The place got loud and rowdy as they encouraged each section to support their knight.

When you first arrive at the Medieval Times Dinner Show you are greeted by a number of wenches and surfs that escort you to the wench at the window to pay for your dinner and show. I recommend that you pay the little extra to sit down front and get the complimentary souvenirs. You are then escorted to the King and Queen to have your pictures taken.

We had some extra time so we decided to look around the gift shop and then watched A Knight to Remember (they do things for special occasions). After that, we were escorted to the show.

The atmosphere inside was just as if you were back in those days. The food was execellent and the show was spectactular. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for something out of the ordinary to do.

No silverware was allowed. We ate with our fingers. The food was good. The show was excellent. The costumes were elegant. The servers were efficient with distrubuting the food and drink. We ate until we were stuffed. We will do this again.

This was a "knight" to remember. We enjoyed a kid-free time with a show during dinner. If you haven't been to a dinner theater, this is an experience for you. You leave full and fully entertained. The performance atop horses was remarkable.
