The Myrtle Beach area has ostensibly the world's highest per capita density of waffle and pancake houses, as well as every fast-food outlet imaginable. There are relatively few restaurants attempting to cater to those looking for fine dining.

As this is a fishing village, seafood was the specialty of the house. The dishes my wife and I selected from the menu had some of the largest shrimp and mussels we had ever eaten. There is a wide variety of meat, seafood, and pasta dishes to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.
Although somewhat pricey, I would recommend Bovine's to anyone looking for a change from the ubiquitous Cracker Barrel or nearby fast-food joints.
