This place is in an alley so narrow I walked past it three times, even when I was purposely trying to find it. I'm glad I did; it became my favorite lunch spot.
The charm of the place is its intimate but elegant ambience, created partly by the antique mahogany fireplace, and partly from the warmth of the staff. The food was like you'd get at a restaurant in the countryside on the European continent; savory, hearty, but not too "arty." Come back more than once and you'll be treated like an old friend.
