Rio Hotel All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

This restaurant is in the Rio Suites hotel, which is off the Strip, kind of behind Caesars Palace. The restaurant is 3 blocks long. It has so many food stations. I would say it serves international cuisine. It has Japanese hibachi, Chinese, Italian, seafood, Mongolian barbecue, American, and so much more. The food is excellent, too. I think dinner only cost $12.99. I ate here twice on one vacation, and once on my business trip in 2001. Forget about the Dessert Station, you would think that you died and went to heaven! Bring your appetite . . . you are going to need it.

RIO SEAFOOD BUFFET

The Rio Buffet is quite famous throughout Las Vegas. Being a seafood fanatic myself, I could have happily eaten each and every meal here. The lines can be quite long, so I recommend arriving pretty early (15-20 minutes before opening) as to avoid a long wait. It may seem pricey for a Vegas buffet, but given the quanity and quality of food choices it's well worth it! They have everything from: any shrimp dish you can imagine, fresh crab, crab cakes, many fish choices, sushi, lobster, octopus, seafood salads, fresh salads, salad bar, cold and hot food, pastas, the list goes on and on! If you're a seafood fan, you don't want to miss this!

RIO Hotel All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

Voted the best buffet in Las Vegas and we can see why. Mixed cuisines including mexican, oriental, sushi, italian, boiled shrimp (our favorite) and seafood, shakes/burgers and salads. An all-you-can-eat, self service, indulgent atmosphere. Once lunch or dinner is complete, visit the mixed bakery where fresh homebaked goods tempt: cannoli, creme and fresh fruit cups, bavarian creme pastries, cookies, cakes and pies. Soft serve ice cream was a nice, plain side to compliment so many rich desserts following a huge meal of so many good foods of seemingly unending choices.
