Rio Seafood Buffet

I had heard so much about this seafood buffet, but was very disappointed when I actually went. I did not think it was worth the money. The lobsters were small "lobster slips" that are apparently imported from Australia. I much prefer the whole Maine lobsters. The food was good, but I did not think it compared to the Bellagio buffet.

If there is a better seafood buffet out there, I don't know what it could be. It is a little expensive, but includes everything from lobster and shrimp to crabs and prawns. Made to order seafood stirfry that is fantastic.

The buffet opens at 4:00pm, however, I recommend arriving early or be prepared to wait about an hour. The price is $30 a person, but well worth it even if you don't care for seafood. My husband loves seafood so I thought I'd bare through it. However, I thought the food selection was wonderful, as I didn't have an ounce of seafood. The food was delicious and the desserts were to die for!

This is such a great buffet. It's HUGE! You can have everything you want, from milkshakes to gyros - something for everyone. And since it's a buffet you can have as much as you want! The food is served good and hot. I usually hate buffets because I think they are really dirty, but this one is very clean! Enjoy!

I think the Rio Buffet was so overrated. They say it is rated #1 in Las Vegas, but I didn't care for it too much. Because it is so popular the lines were so long and the food wasn't that great. It isn't that cheap either.
