New Grand Lux Cafe in Palazzo Las Vegas

The new Grand Lux Cafe is so beautiful! It is in the Palazzo which is connected to the Venetian (where the first one is). It is spacious, and the food was amazing. My husband and I went there, after we passed the first one earlier. We didn't have to wait long, like the other one. The service was excellent, our server actually had a personality! The menu has lots of choices, and the desserts were excellent. We ate there the whole weekend!

If you go to Vegas, go to The Grand Lux in The Palazzo!

On our last evening in Vegas, we ate at the Grand Lux Café. It’s inside the Venetian Hotel and is managed by the same company that owns the Cheesecake Factory. The inside of the restaurant followed the same architecture feel of the hotel replicating Venetian décor. The inside of the restaurant was very impressive, with beautiful tiled floors and ornate moldings. I really wasn’t expecting much out of this reasonably priced café in Vegas, so finally seeing the inside of this restaurant took my breathe away.

Luckily, their food was just as delicious as the architecture was appealing. I had a Seafood Dinner Salad loaded with mounds of shrimp, crab, green beans, corn, and blue cheese. This was one of the best salads that I’ve ever had. I could have easily shared this salad with one other person and been plenty full. The waitress warned us that all of their meal portions were big, and she definitely didn’t exaggerate. My boyfriend had a burger, which he wasn’t able to finish, either. Both of our meals were absolutely wonderful.

The Grand Lux offers a variety of food I really wished I could have tried while I was there, but vacations are too short. Their menu offers breakfast, pastas, pizza, seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken items, entrée salads, and, of course, wonderful mouthwatering desserts. They even offer a pretty extensive wine list. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out if you want a nice, but not terribly expensive meal.

The Grand Lux Cafe offers large portions of un-ordinary breakfast items.

I kept it simple; scrambled eggs, hash-browns, and bacon. Two of my friends, however, decided to order something truly Las Vegas... waffles with fried chicken and pecan maple sauce.
It was yummy!

The great thing about traveling with friends is that you can share food.

Grand Lux Cafe serves Cheesecake Factory cheesecake... I, of course, indulge. Nothing beats Dulce De Leche Cheesecake after breakfast!

Grand Lux Cafe (Venetian)

We visited and stayed at the Venetian in November of 2005. We had a comped meal at the Grand Lux and enjoyed it very much. Our service was okay, but our server was a little distracted. I think she was ready to go home.

Our meals were so different, with tons of different styles of cuisine. I had a Thai dish and my husband has pasta. Both were delicious. They are owned by the same people as the Cheesecake Factory. The meals were blessed with huge portions; the dessert would have served a small country!

This restaurant is 24 hours and right inside the casino at the Venetian. We had dinner, but they have an extensive breakfast, lunch, and after-hours menu. Everyone in your family or group would be able to find something wonderful on this menu.

Prices are very reasonable. We had an appetizer, dinner, and one dessert for $55. Lines are sometimes out the door at prime times of the day. If you go at off times, you can walk right in. The half-round booths are very comfy, and you can cuddle with your loved one, so make sure to ask for one.

Our group had a preplanned reception at this restaurant following a wedding at the Bellagio. Our dinner was made up of three courses. The first course was a Caesar salad that tasted, as though it had either feta or blue cheese in it. That gave it a different taste, but it was good. The second course was either chicken parm or a pasta dish. I had the chicken parm, and it was great. They served very large portions. The third course was dessert, which was vanilla and chocolate crème brule. Everything was great. I would recommend a reservation, as there was a line forming at 5pm.
