Cool place to eat... Set up with trees, robotic animals and waterfalls to look like a rainforest! There is a volcano/storm every half hour, with thunder and lightning effects and animals going crazy! There is a gift shop on site where you can buy rainforest apparel, souvenirs, etc. They serve a variety of seafood dishes, Caribbean, Mexican inspired dishes. Very good food, we came back a second time!

If you have children, this is the place. It is a theme cafe. It is made to look like a tropical rainforest with a lot of vegetation and animated animals. There are also numerous aquariums with wonderful brightly colored fish to watch.

The food was pretty good and the service was good also. If you save room for dessert (we were too stuffed), they have a really fun "volcano". It is a mountain of ice cream and toppings and is served with a lighted sparkler! Definitely an attention getter.

Go and have fun. The only downside, as with most places in Vegas, is that you have to enter/exit through the gift shop. Be ready to fend off the "mom, can have this pleeeeaaase???", and you will be ok.

This restaurant is located in the MGM hotel & casino. If you have ever visited a Rainforest Café before you will know the drill. Tables surrounded by trees, animated animals, fountains and giant aquariums. Every so often there is a thunderstorm which aggravates all the "animals" and they start shrieking and moving around. This can be quite amusing if someone near the elephant has no idea it is about to throw its trunk in the air!

The food is usually pretty good and you get plenty of it. I had the Planet Earth pasta which was very tasty and my husband had the chicken Caesar salad, which he too enjoyed. As I mentioned you do get large helpings – especially if you are British and used to British portions. We could not finish our meals and therefore could not sample the desserts, which sounded great.

Although more expensive than many "normal" restaurants, you are paying for the ambiance. The staff always seem friendly and helpful. This restaurant in Vegas is the only one of the chain which opens for breakfast.

The RainForest Cafe is a fun place to go with children and also for adults. Amazing atmosphere, with huge fish tanks, elephants, butterflies, and you're in the middle of the rainforest. If you have never been to one before, you should give it a try! In the middle of your dinner, a storm starts and it starts to rain all over the place, but don't worry, you won't get wet! The food is good, and the price is good as well! A very nice family place that will leave you full and happy!

This restaurant is in the MGM Grand Hotel. My family and I ate here in 1999 and it was my first experience at the Rainforest Cafe. I have tried to eat at the one in Orlando many times, but I always had to wait about two hours and always gave up.

I asked the hostess here what time was good so that we wouldn't have to wait. We ate dinner at 5:30 p.m., which was a little early, but not too bad because we had tickets to the EFX show afterwards. This was a really cute dining experience. Thunderstorms, moving gorillas, flying birds...it was fun. Kids would definitely enjoy it.

Oh, did I mention that the food was very tasty? I went with my husband and my parents and everyone was happy. At the entrance to the restaurant was a parrot and its' handler. The parrot was doing tricks, and the handler was giving us a little lesson about the bird's habits. It was a very enjoyable experience.
