Wok

Description

With the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School charting their fame, the Nambians opened The Wok in 1998. The interior is pleasant and homey, while the garden terrace is dreamily lit at night by lanterns, making for a rather romantic atmosphere. Best known for its northern Thai cuisine, such as Chiang Mai sausage and Chiang Mai curry, the restaurant also serves tom yum (hot and sour soup), tom ka gai (coconut soup) and chicken with cashew nuts. A good range of desserts and the usual array of imported and domestic beer, Mekong whiskey, Bacardi rum, gin and tonics are available.
