This place is great for an authentic taste of Naples, and Neapolitans, just getting on with it! Go for lunch and the place will be crammed with locals dropping in for a quick bite, or even getting takeaway.
You'll be hard-pressed to spend 10 euros each, including 1/2 litre of wine (1.03 euros for that - yes, you did hear correctly). Food is typical local dishes - simple pasta with tomato or beans to start, or rice with zucchini and parmesan. Local fish and cheese feature heavily in the main courses, and vegetable side dishes are delicious (try the pepper-and-aubergine-based ones).
If your Italian-food vocabulary isn't great, then one of those tiny dictionaries might be a good help, as (obviously) the menu is only in Italian!
Finally, the area around here is very pretty for a post-lunch wander, and if you head down towards the seafront, you'll pass through a small park in which to sleep off the effects of the wine...
