India Palace

India Palace is a popular spot in downtown Santa Fe.

We got there hungry and tired from a long day sightseeing and hiking. We sat in the patio, which is mostly enclosed and was nicely decorated. We immediately were brought a complimentary crispy bread with sauces, which got us through until our appetizers came. We got two appetizers, three vegetarian dishes, one shrimp dish, and garlic naan.
Everything was great! I usually think Indian food is too greasy, but this didn’t seem that way. It was also not too spicy. The ambience was very Santa Fe—upscale but hip artsy types talking about art and people. The service was excellent. I recommend it highly. For us, it was the perfect topper for a great day.
