Sakura

Description

Tucked away at the end of an alley of restaurants, Sakura feels authentically Japanese and is popular with Japanese business visitors. This inn, which is furnished in pale wood, has a minimalistic, clean and intimate feel. There are red lanterns outside and decorative sake barrels and Japanese prints inside. At the counter there are immaculate chunks of salmon, shrimp, tuna, eel and other raw fish on display. The menu also includes Japanese favourites such as soba, tempura, tonkatsu and yakitori. Business lunches, which include miso soup, Japanese soup, green tea and an assortment of main courses, range from NIS 45-66 (only available Sun-Thu). Average meal price: NIS 100.
