Description
In business since 1964, this is one of the city's oldest Indian restaurants. Situated in a busy area in the city centre, it has an interesting atmosphere and enjoys a variety of passing trade and regulars. The delightfully old fashioned decor complements the traditional furnishings and fittings, and somewhere on the premises is a photograph of Cliff Richard during a visit back in the 60s. As can be expected from such an established restaurant, the food here is top quality. All dishes are cooked with the freshest ingredients and the chicken tikka massala is by far the most popular dish on the menu.
