Offering far more than just good food, a variety of events take place in this cosy rustic setting such as art exhibitions, music events and regular wine tasting. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed and in the summer French windows are thrown open revealing a charming sun terrace. The menu offers an interesting selection of dishes for example a starter of asparagus au beurre, followed by lemon sole farci will cost around £16 per head and a bottle of house wine just £9. For dessert, try the hot cherries and vanilla ice cream or perhaps the excellent cheeseboard. Breakfast and lunch are also served daily.
