This rustic and homely restaurant provides a very friendly and family run service. Comfortable and relaxing at any time of the year, but in colder weather a roaring log fire adds to the warm and inviting ambience. The ground floor area is not large, but it does span out on to an upper floor, so an intimate table for two is possible. On Mondays to Thursdays, an early doors menu is offered for around £9 for three courses. On the regular menu, delicacies such as king prawns wrapped in bacon in a creamy basil sauce followed by Canard Roti, a duck in orange or honey sauce are just some of the tempting dishes on offer.
