Edinburgh's oldest and most highly acclaimed delicatessen not only sells wonderful breads, gourmet delicacies and kitchen essentials, but now has an in-house cafe where you can savour the delights of their Italian cuisine. Full Italian breakfast is served from 8-11am. Lunchtime gives way to filled focaccias, as well as hot dishes, such as pasta and fish. There is a £2 corkage charge on any wine bought from the front of the shop.
