This is a small restaurant in North Beach with wonderful Italian cuisine. Open kitchen and complete bar. Respectful wine list with wines by the glass. Very delicious food, including meat items, seafood, and pasta, reasonably priced. I had a swordfish dish in a puttanesca sauce. My wife had rack of lamb. Both were outstanding. This is one of our San Francisco favorites, and we always make an advance reservation and look forward to dining there.

We had dinner at this small restaurant in North Beach. We have eaten here on several occasions and always try to go back when we are in San Francisco. The decor is cute, with many photos on the walls of celebrities who have dined with them. The restauant is small, so reservations are necessary. You can reserve on the internet.

I had a delicious prepration of swordfish with potatoes and vegetables. My wife has lamb chops, which were superb.

The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. There also is a large selection of appetizers, soups, and salads to accompany your meal. We shared a baby spinich salad with dried cranberries, spiced pecans, and goat cheese. It was outstanding. The service is attentive and friendly.
