This elegant restaurant caters to Japanese travelers. For those not able to make the trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, this is the perfect way to see what part of it is like. Kimono-clad waitresses, fluent in both Japanese and English, serve specialties that are hard to find elsewhere in the States. The sushi is some of the freshest, most expertly prepared anywhere. The rest of the cuisine is equally well-made, so that even simple dishes, such as sashimi or stir-fried crab take on a delicious richness. This is a pricey dining experience, but one that borders on the poetic. There is a fine selection of sake in a variety of price ranges. Here, too, some are rarely found elsewhere else in the States.
