Monty's is one of my favorites. The she crab soup is out of this world. I always get three or four containers to go, put it in plasic bags back in my room, freeze in the mini fridge and take them out just before leaving. It is a great enjoyment to be eating this soup back in Pa on a snowy night remembering Montys'. There is a swimming pool around the bar that you can use and is a great place to take the kids so yuou can enjoy a few cocktails and they can swim. They have live island music from 4 to 8 Monday thru Friday. A fun place...enjoy!

When Joe's Stone Crab Restaurant is closed in the summer months and we happen to be in Miami then this is where we go to eat. Although the stone crabs are shipped in from somewhere on the east coast, I still have to have my fix. Ask for a table next to the water and if you happen to go on a day the cruise ships are leaving you will have a great seat. Other seafood items are also very good.

I loved this place! The bartender(at the Tiki Bar outside) was hilarious. They have incredible seafood here. Absolutely delicious. Go here to dine with locals and tourists alike. You can't leave without trying the stone crabs.

Monty's offers great views but it doesn't have the atmosphere or the great food that Joe's Stone Crab has to offer. I found the food your typical touristy beach restaurant type. For the inflated cost it wasn't worth it. Just go to Joe's.
