Taste of Saigon

Description

The flavors of Vietnam and her longtime occupant, France, are incorporated in this elegant restaurant.

For a spectacular main course, ask for the steamed whole rockfish with black bean sauce, which is beautifully presented at the table. The black pepper chicken is superb and the caramel fish—not too sweet and with a little kick—is the best in town. Displaying more of the French influence is the Vietnamese steak and a Saigon beef stew.

If you still have room, try the unusual taro root pudding with coconut sauce for dessert.
