There are many places to eat on Lake Travis, but the Oasis is a landmark in itself. Sitting 450 feet above the water, the Oasis has spectacular views of the lake and sunsets. There are twenty-eight outdoor decks to view from, or choose from several dining rooms inside with panoramic views. The Oasis is available for weddings, private parties, and meetings for 10-1,000 people. The grounds are beautiful with sculpture, art, antiques, and lush gardens. The restaurant serves fajitas, steaks, seafood, pasta and Mexican food for up to $20 a plate, and has a full bar. Lunch is served on weekdays and brunch on Sundays. Live music often wafts over the decks. A gift shop has souvenirs. The Oasis also has guest suites in multilevel cottages featuring fireplaces, lofts, private decks, baths and great views. Rates range from $195-240. The Oasis has a tradition where patrons applaud and rate the sunsets when the hostess chimes a bell. A man-made swimming pool is available for overnight guests.
