I really enjoy coming to the Kerbey Lane Cafe because it is a place that really emphasizes the best of Austin to me: crunchy, granola, socially responsible, fun, counter-culture, irreverent, and flavored with Tex-Mex. The pancakes are amazing, and I also like the Migas, a special Tex-Mex scrambled egg dish. It is a very casual place, and it seems like everyone there is a student or looks like a professor, an intellectual, artist, or someone who is socially responsible.
