The room service attendant recommended this place and we were glad we went there.
We arrived on Monday afternoon around 5pm. The hostess told us it would be an hour for the pizza to be ready. We ordered and then sat for drinks. We were fortunate; we did not have to wait for a table and got one by the window. We had a pitcher of Bud Light and split a Caesar salad, then got a spinach cheese Chicago deep-dish pizza. $38.42 including tip, and we thought this was quite enjoyable.

Pizzeria Uno
Chicago is known for deep-dish pizza, and Pizzeria Uno is one of the best. This is the original, not a franchise. It is located close to Michigan Avenue, perfect after shopping or before a sports event or night out. It is small, so if you have to wait long, walk a block to its sister pizza restaurant, Pizzeria Due. Pizzas take 45 minutes to cook, so be prepared to wait--but it is well worth it. You just can't get pizza like this other than in Chicago. Even if you have a local franchise near you, you will be pleasantly surprised by the original.
