HARRY CARAY'S RESTAURANT

This Harry Caray's restaurant is located in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Rosemont. The more famous location is downtown at Kinzie and State. I had a really great Italian mixed salad with fresh mozzarella, pepperoccinis, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, romaine lettuce and a balsalmic dressing. I dreamed about how good the salad was. Until I woke up at 1:30 a.m. with FOOD POISONING! And so did my colleague who also ate the salad. She called to tell the restaurant manager and the manager said, "well that happens sometimes." I have never been so sick in my life. The service that day was a little slow. We had a party of ten people though. Others in our group did enjoy their pasta and chicken dishes without incident. It is fairly expensive. Lunch entrees are about $10.
