A fondue restaurant downtown Chicago, it is very small and cozy, with candles and dark atmosphere. Plan on being there for a long period of time, as you cook your own food. Starters are appetizers, which included bread and grapes that you dip in warm, melted cheese. Next was the main course, where you cook meat and vegetables in hot grease fondue (be very careful, the grease is very hot). Dessert was strawberries, pineapple, and cakes that you dipped into hot chocolate. You can also roast marshmallows and dip them in the chocolate. It is not a place to take children if they are hungry, but very romantic for a date.

Pronounced /Gay' - HA s/. This is a romantic fondue place found in the cavernous basement of a turn of the century building. It is dark and you leave smelling like the boiling oil used to cook meat and vegetables. It is known as a place to propose marriage. But you can still go with friends and feel comfortable. Despite the bite-sized pieces you cook yourself, you will have plenty to eat. Each dinner comes with a cheese fondue course, main oil cooking course and a chocolate dessert course. Valet Parking is available. It has flamenco and classical guitar nightly.
