Wolfgang Puck's Spago

We decided to try Spago, since I've heard of Wolfgang Puck's reputation for creating culinary masterpieces and experiences. He ususally caters the parties for the Oscars.

We started off with a bottle of Merlot, which the waiter was kind enough to recommend without any pretension. I started with an appetizer of scallops. They were the largest scallops I've ever seen, three of them in all. The way the chef prepared and presented them was truly art. I savored each and every bite as I slowly made my way through this dining experience. For my main course, I chose a selection of beef: the sirloin strip. It was a delight. It was served with fresh, vibrant, colorful vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes.

All in all, I would give the dining experience 4 stars out of 5.

I found it to be really an experience plus a meal. The waiter knew the menu-and made the meal quite a value. And the food was consistently great no matter what you ordered. Also, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Going here is pushing me to visit his Las Vegas restaurants.
