While you can get " Real" island meals in downtown Nassau and at the fish fry this is about as good as it gets on Paradise Island. They were 4 of us for lunch my wife likes chicken my friend pretty much stays with burgers but his wife & I like Local so I had fried snapper sandwich and she had cracked counch. we all enjoyed our selection and the setting was more " Island" than at the Casino or the chain places in the Harbor Village. the Key Lime pie was good but not Fla great and given it's setting prices were in line.

We have visited Anthony's on several different trips to the Bahamas, and while the prices have gone up, the food and service seem to have stayed the same. The restaurant is convenient to Atlantis, and the bright-colored decor and napkins make for a nice Caribbean setting. The menu includes regular burgers and sandwiches, but also some Caribbean entrées (chicken with a fruit/mango sauce, for example), and there is a kid's menu. The food is really good, but you'll find better deals out by the fish market and in downtown Nassau. If you don't mind paying more, this is a nice place to go, especially because they often have bands playing nice background music.

The place is much like a Bennigan's or TGIFriday's here in the U.S. but it does have more of a local fare. The food was excellent. Make sure you find the local flyer at the visitors center or airport which has a coupon for a 48 ounce large drink. This saves you at least $12.

The food was good and this place is an excellent alternative to the more expensive Atlantis hotel which is evident by crowds that go there.

Anthony's is a great alternative to the pricey restaurants at Atlantis and it's only a few minutes walk away. You can't miss it, really, in the shopping center right across the street from Atlantis on the main road.

We had several delicious dinners here and stopped by for "takeout" Key lime pie one evening after dinner. Anthony's features several Bahamian seafood specialties including crusted red snapper and the best crack (fried) conch we had on our vacation. I liked the seafood platter that came with crack conch, fried grouper fingers, and fried shrimp. They also have pasta, pizza, and burgers, all for reasonable prices. Most entrees were around $15; the seafood platter was $22 and well worth it. All of us enjoyed the fresh blue crab and lime salad appetizer -- it's amazing how many places in the Caribbean use the fake crab in recipes, but this was the real thing and a nice big portion.

Anthony's is a casual, child friendly environment (we came with a double stroller in tow and they cheerfully stowed it for us). They have a kids’ menu that comes with crayons and games printed on it (my son colored in his "Animals of the Bahamas" game and put it in his scrapbook). We never had any wait to be seated and found the service to be efficient and friendly.

For the grown-ups, the bar drinks were delicious. If you look carefully in some of the local guidebooks and maps you can even find a coupon for a free 46 oz colossal rum punch sparkler drink for two that's a bit stronger than it looks (free with purchase of two entrees). The first time we went, we paid full price for the drink -- when we returned a few nights later we had the coupon and saved $12.

Excellent food for a reasonable price; live music to keep you entertained; good service, though you may be kept waiting a while on occasion but, as we were on holiday and in no rush to go anywhere, this was never a problem for us.
