What started as a small restaurant owned by some people who moved from the coast to Quito, became over a short space of time, the most important cevichería in the whole city. Today, besides its spacious, original two-story restaurant in Rumiñahuy, it has six more branches located at strategic points around the city such as the shopping centers and parks. It is a very busy place, especially at weekends, when from time to time people have to queue in order to enjoy the delicious dishes served here. Los Ceviches de Rumiñahuy has been frequented by many important foreign and local people.
