Osteria Nonna Gina

Walking distance from the Piazza this small restaurant serves great rustic food at very reasonable prices. Some outdoor seating at three or four street side tables, a small charming main dining room with maybe 8 tables and apparently a basement area too which by all accounts is not recommended. We went on a Sunday evening around 7-30pm and were able to get a table in the main dining room, however by 8-00pm the place was full.

Antipasti for about 5 Euro and pastas for 8 Euro. We shared a plate of prosciutto with figs and each had some homemade pasta, the name of which I was not familiar with. Should have shared the pasta too!!

Watch out if in Siena on a Sunday, many of the restaurants are closed.
