This pleasant French-themed bar and bistro is situated on the corner of Albert Square - right in the centre of the city - and is a great place to stop off whenever there are events going on.

With its elegantly imposing facade, stylish interior and quality food, it is always a popular choice. There is an excellent value prix fixe menu served daily - recent choices included plum tomato with red onion salad, followed by chicken breast glazed with mushrooms and red wine. Dessert choices include vanilla ice cream with brandied cherries. There is also a small selection of cocktails (£4 each) and the wine list starts at £10 a bottle.
