Description
The recently refurbished Azad Manzil is a friendly and highly regarded licensed Indian restaurant whose chef won a major regional curry competition a couple of years ago. Both the interior and exterior have been pleasantly renovated with lots of teak wooden fittings and subdued lighting to give a relaxed feel.
Concentrating on creating simple, classic dishes, the generous starters here include the Azad special: sheikh kebab (£2.55) and mains such as lamb samba, rogan josh and bhuna at around £5. There is also a takeaway and home delivery service available on request.
