Description
Located at the far Piccadilly end of Canal Street, this new bar-restaurant has the highly popular Velvet for company but still manages to assert its own personality and already has plenty of fans of its own. The décor is slightly rough and ready, with terracotta and grey-blue walls, stripped wooden floors and plain wood chairs and tables giving an unpretentious feel.
Food is available daily from opening till 10pm, with a quirky mixture of Asian and contemporary European dishes such as Thai chicken curry and toasted goat's cheese on grilled radicchio leaves, most at considerably less than £10. There are also lots of sandwiches and wraps available from £3.75 and a decent wine list – especially from the new world - to choose from.
