Description

Paco - the owner and chef of this popular establishment in the centre of Eccles - was the brains behind the original menu at the hugely successful La Tasca chain of restaurants. Now he and his wife, Sonia, have set up a family-friendly restaurant and bar of their own, using all his knowledge and know-how when it comes to Spanish food.

The food is imaginative and interesting, with a bias towards the traditional food of the Costa Blanca area of Spain. Tapas average out at around £3 and include such options as paella alicantina and cazuela de pollo (chicken casserole with tomatoes, peppers, chorizo and olives). There is a good selection of Spanish wines - such as Alforja, at a reasonable £8.50 - and a range of beers and spirits are also available.
