You pay for the view. The food was only average. For the same price, you can get appetizers and wine at the restaurants at the Mayan Palace.

Been there every time we visit Acapulco and have yet to be disappointed. The food and service are great with an extensive menu. The owner is always on the premises and he is a very interesting gentleman. The Kukkaburra birds are kept in a large cage at the end of the room and the owner loves to show them off. The sounds they make remind us of old romantic movies set on a remote and private island. No, he does not take them out of the cage.

The expectation of wonderful Mexican seafood cuisine in reality was a meeting of the red sea and the yellow river sauces. Not even Chuck Heston could have parted the sea of sauces, they were so heavy and overpowering.

The 'sea of sauce' did little to hide the lack of freshness and very small portions, even by California standards. The one soft shell crab appetizer was deep fried and cost $18. And it went down from there, or rather, the bill went up from there. I have to say, we live in San Francisco and have experienced some of the best prepared seafood in the world, and if this is one of the best restaurants in Acapulco. . . Ordering Pizza from Domino's would be better!!!!!!

This is a lovely restaurant with an exquisite view of Acapulco. Service is attentive, but almost too attentive as waiters dive in to remove a plate just as one takes the last bite. Presentation is very nice. Food items imaginative.
