This lovely little restaurant near Piazza Vetro has a smack of old Milan. It is very busy at lunchtime and in the evenings. This area of Milan is famous for nightlife and there are four other famous bars and restaurants nearby. Large windows look towards the (alas) fenced park; candles, farmhouse furnishings, rustic furniture and checked tablecloths complete the decor. Friendly waiters. Lombard cuisine is high on the menu but is not all there is: naturally you will find risottoes, fresh pasta, gnocchi, roasts and polenta. An Emilian speciality stands out from the rest: fried gnocco with cold meats. You must try the chocolate mousse. A buffet is available at lunchtime.
