Description

This well-known restaurant is located in a romantic old alley along the Naviglio Canal. The entrance is very attractive; old restructured washhouses recreate the atmosphere of the early 20th century. The second floor building has low barrel vault ceilings and large rooms and is decorated with old millstones, bunches of dried flowers and old everyday objects. The menu is typically Milanese: fresh pasta, gnocchi, risottos, meat dishes including Milanese cutlet. The wines are excellent. El Brellin's Sunday brunch includes scrambled eggs alla Milanese, fried dishes with vegetables and the famous torta menghina.
