Description
This hidden restaurant is mainly frequented by Lao businessmen. The lack of background music or radio can be a relief to some. A large 'Alcaworma' fish imported from the Amazon is the main focal point, and other interesting artwork decorates the room.
The menu has distinctive dishes such as stag, frog, eel and catfish--hard to come by in other Vientiane restaurants. Vegetarians could try 'Rottin Shoot,' a cross between raw and ripe bamboo shoots. The menu might need translating by the English speaking staff but any selection will be something of an adventure. Complete the meal with a Beerlao.
