This small informal restaurant, decorated with Japanese prints and calligraphy, serves Japanese and Lao meals and snacks. Tempting set meals include zarusoba (buckwheat noodles) and katsudon (cutlets) with miso soup and rice. Tempura (deep-fried vegetables or seafood), inari sushi (fish on vinegared rice) and yakitori (grilled chicken) are among the classic Japanese dishes offered. Vegetarians may enjoy, among other choices, Agedashi Tofu (soy-bean curd in a tasty sauce). Whiskey, Beerlao and soft drinks accompany meals, along with traditional Japanese hot or cold sake.
