Pon Lok does a good business, but it has received mixed reviews about the quality of their food, as well as the price. Nonetheless, Pon Lok is a good place to try local delicacies in a friendly atmosphere. The staff speak reasonable English to advise you on your menu, from whole steamed fish to Chinese-influenced favorites such as sweet-and-sour chicken. This upstairs restaurant is blessed with one of town's best views over the Tonle Sap River. Inside, white tiles predominate under whirling ceiling fans.
