Not your average Chinese takeaway, Chef House offers both traditional Asian dishes, as well as East meets West cuisine. The decor is pleasant, albeit dated. This establishment can become quite busy at lunchtime, as office workers head here for something different. The Asian menu is extensive and includes traditional Chinese dishes. The East meets West menu features char-grilled salmon and vegetables with teriyaki sauce (AUD14.80), pork eye fillet with lemon grass (AUD13.60), and bean curd and eggplant with garlic and dried tomato (AUD10.20).
