Description
Tucked away at the back of a rather industrial arcade, this inexpensive, Chinese restaurant is a real find. The Diamond is decorated in the traditional oriental style of the 1980s: aquarium at the front door, red and gold wall coverings, and red carpet. The vast menu contains all the Chinese favourites, such as chop suey, Singapore noodles, and beef in black bean sauce. The scallops with black bean sauce (AUD14) are delicious, as are the garlic king prawns (AUD12.80).
