Description
It is worth the drive to this village pub for a leisurely Saturday or Sunday lunch, particularly on a day when the water is sparkling. The location is the best. It is so close to Bruny Island that you can almost reach out and touch it as you sit and have a drink by the water. The restaurant serves fresh local produce, including salmon, mussels and oysters, and offers wines from nearby vineyards. The bar resounds with music--mostly tunes from Ireland. Locals call it their own, but visitors are always made to feel welcome.
