This place is amazing on Friday and Saturday nights, when they do a seafood buffet that has both hot and cold seafood dishes, like chili crab, piles of smoked salmon, Moreton Bay bug, prawns, and oysters. It is a seafood-lover’s heaven. They also cater to the seafood-challenged with a great selection of non-seafood dishes. My favorite was the yellow chicken curry with Kahlua! But the best is saved for the last - included in the price is possibly the best dessert buffet in the world (well, in Brisbane at least). It can get busy, so come early and get stuck in here! The staff is very helpful and friendly – they are not snobby at all. They also offer a $12 all-you-can-drink wine bar. Everything is up to five-star standards, as you would expect from the Marriott.
However, my only gripe, and it is a small one, is that the area around the buffet is a bit small and hard to move around. However, as something for a special occasion, it would put a smile on any seafood-lover’s face.
