Mi Cocina

Mi Cocina has the BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten. I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, I like it but I do not love it like my husband, he could eat it all the time if I let him. Anyways, Mi Cocina is an upscale Mexican restaurant with a very modern atmosphere and feel to it that makes you feel comfortable and welcome.

The food is really good, I had a chicken enchillada, a beef taco and a pork tamale. The only other tamale that I have had that was better than this, was a homemade tamale made in Mexico. My meal was served with rice and beans and my meal cost just under $10.00. I thought this was a very reasonable price for the amount of food I got and the quality of food. Almost all their menu items are like this, you get quite a bit of food for around $10.00, some of the meals are little more but justifiably so.

The service at Mi Cocina is great, the servers really take good care of you. They are there to fill up your drinks and take your plates with out being too pushy and getting in your face. The servers are all dressed alike in a yellowish colored shirt and black pants, very chic looking, and they actually blend into the wall almost.

The feeling you get in Mi Cocina is one that lets you know you are in a nice restaurant but not too nice that an average person would out of place. It has a very modern look and very upscale with warm neutral colors like yellow and copper and black. The restaurant has huge windows and tall ceilings that make it feel very open and spacy.

I definitely recommend Mi Cocina for anyone who might like Mexican food.
