I attended a special wine tasting and dinner evening at this fine restaurant. The event reminded me how very, very nice this restaurant is. The beef was so good we asked the waiter to find out what was in the sauce. A wonderful place to have that special evening out, a nice lunch, or a holiday treat.

Don't forget the piano bar and lounge at the rear of the building that now has a patio with outdoor service in fair weather.

Located in a shopping center that appears ordinary, Cafe Aspen has so far exceeded any limits as 'just a neighborhood' restaurant and is now and properly a destination restaurant for locals and visitors alike.

The layout of the restaurant includes many half walls that give you a feeling of greater privacy and comfort. The art on the walls is by local artists and is usually for sale.

Don't pass up the chance to have a dessert as they are always wonderful. The prices are fair for the quality of what you get and are certainly way below what you would pay in, for example, Dallas for a meal of similar quality.

Located about 6 miles west of downtown.

Yes, we certainly did enjoy the wines provided by Stonestreet vineyards and winery of California. This was a very special evening and hope another is scheduled. Cafe Aspen is located at 6103 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth, Texas.

Very nice restaurant. Excellent music in the bar. Entirely separate smoking area--glassed in! Wonderful desserts and cocktails. Very good fish, but specify if you want your fish 'well done'. Open for lunch and dinner Weekdays, dinners only on Saturdays. Closed Sundays. Plenty of parking. Regular customers know to park in the rear and come in through the bar. The full menu is served in the bar and I like it better than the front which can be very noisy. The art works on the walls are for sale. So are the coffee mugs.
