Description: Initially I was concerned by the slightly clinical 'pizza express' feel about the place - but it would seem appearances can be deceptive. We were seated immediately - despite not having booked. As soon as we sat the waiter asked if we would like to order drinks. I said I fancied Red wine - but not the house red. He suggested a wine he enjoyed - and when I looked it wasn't the most expensive on the menu - indeed it was very nice.
The service was outstanding. All evening, we had 2 0r 3 waiters at our disposal, and the place was busy. Our food arrived quickly, and was mouth waterly delicious. Italian can sometimes be bland - but I was amazed by my salmon penne. My partner enjoyed Beef.
The ambience - despite my inital judgement, was very romantic. The tables are nicely spaced. We had fantastic views of the sea, from the glass walls, and the place was only lit by candle, creating a more intimate feel. All sorts were there - families, couples and one hen night.
A fantastic place - highly recommended!
