Known for its extremely stylish atmosphere and décor, this café/bar caters for Birmingham's bright young things and smart corporate diners. There is a metropolitan feel to the place, with its airy space and sense of busy importance. The food served is mainly Mediterranean and there is also a rotisserie and an oyster bar (half a dozen will set you back £7.50). There's an inventive menu, with dishes like salad of smoked pigeon breast with fennel, celeriac and pomegranate salsa (£6) to start or chicken and tarragon pie with pesto mash (£10) as a main course giving you an idea of what they're about.
