Description
Harborne may as well be twinned with Le Harve for all the French-oriented eateries it possesses. Mind you, that's no bad thing in this age of bland McFood, and there can never be enough places like Phillipe du Bois. It serves quality fast food, to eat in, on the pavement terrace outside or to take away. Some will wince at having to pay up to £3 for a sandwich, and slightly more for a baguette, but you get what you pay for here. They also do a great line in fresh pastries and light lunches. What's more, the café doubles as a boulangerie, so for freshly baked continental bread there's no alternative.
